Don’t Ignore Back Pain

Researchers investigated questionnaires completed by close to 1,000 people who were followed over 5 years to determine the extent of low back pain in the general population. They found those with back pain at the beginning of the study were 4 times more likely to have pain one year into the study. Moreover, they were 2 times more likely to be affected at the end of the study. The researchers concluded, “Low back pain should not be considered transient and therefore neglected, since the condition rarely seems to be self-limiting but merely presents with periodic attacks and temporary remissions.” If you or another you know is suffering from back pain, contact our office today… we can help!
